Anaesthesia Associates

“Anaesthesia Associates” is the trading name of The Hills Anaesthetic Group, which was started in 1997 by Dr Michael Levitt. Anaesthesia Associates is a highly qualified group of specialist anaesthetists dedicated to excellence in patient care, who have formed a co-operative association for the provision of services to their patients.

All members of Anaesthesia Associates are specialist anaesthetists. Specialist anaesthetists are fully trained medical specialists holding a Fellowship awarded by the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (F.A.N.Z.C.A.) or an equivalent College. This qualification is awarded when, after obtaining a medical degree and completing at least three years of general hospital training, the anaesthetist completes five or more years of intensive specialist training and passes higher level examinations. At Anaesthesia Associates all specialists are highly experienced with diverse special interests, they have practices at hospitals throughout the Sydney area working with over 70 surgeons.
